The finished citron-esque stole. Made from 4 balls of Silky Wool. I like it very much.
The pattern blanket is moving along, but not as fast as I'd like.
Jess' blanket is also progressing, which is probably why the pattern blanket is moving so slow.
I've also cast on a pair of Fiddlehead Mittens, but I'm stuck until i find the ball of lopi lite in Grey that i know I have around here somewhere.
This Easter weekend, I sent Nate and Jess along to see the family while I stayed home. This proved an adventure all around. Saturday night I thought I'd put the kettle on for some hot chocolate. A thought that ended with my stove catching fire, and me in need of a new tea kettle. All's well, though. Sunday, a new kettle, and set of new drip pans were purchased. After a few hours and some sore arms from scrubbing, the stove is back in proper working order.
Sunday evening, the family returned home and Nate greeted me with the question, "So, did Sarah tell you about Jess needing an eye patch?" Beg, pardon?? uh, no. Jess ran up the walk with an ugly, scabby scrape on her eyelid. She's fine. She apparently took a stick to the eye while hunting Easter eggs. It gave everyone a scare though.
I leave you with a reason to love allergy season. My front yard.

Is that the missing 'stashe from StL or did Jess find another handsome mustache while in OH?
